My favourite line of work, developing R&D projects allows me the satisfaction of creating entirely new systems that my clients love.

Some R&D projects I have pursued include automated drill rig control to provide high accuracy directional drilling, self contained gold concentrators that offer fully automated control without a PLC (all controls implemented in a VFD), tree planters, energy systems and more.

The picture above displays a model pump jack I built to develop VFD functionality that would monitor the health of the pump system. The status of a well and health of a pump jack can be accurately determined according to the torque being applied throughout the pumping cycle.
